What is a Medication Review?
A medication review is a service provided by your Safeway pharmacist.
Your pharmacist will create a personalized medication record of all of the prescription and non prescription
medications you are taking. The pharmacist will evaluate each medication for safety and effectiveness and will talk to your doctor with any recommendations for change. During the review you have the opportunity to talk with the
pharmacist about any questions or concerns you have that are related to your medications.
A personal medication review will help you or someone you are a caregiver for, use medications more effectively and avoid unwanted side effects.
