- mild green Chilies, diced
- 1 cup
- Lucerne® Half and Half
In a deep, 12 to 14-inch sauté pan, combine bacon, corn, onion, thyme, and salt and pepper to taste over medium high heat. Stir often until bacon and vegetables are golden brown, 12-15 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over bacon and vegetables. Stir often over the heat for 2 minutes. Slowly stir in 1 cup of broth until mixture simmers and thickens, about 2 minutes.
Add remaining broth and chilies and stir often until simmering. Gently whisk in half and half. Stir just until hot.
Ladle soup into bowls and serve immediately.
