Ingredients

Granny Smith apples, cored, divided
1½ cups
frozen baby spinach
375 mL
1 cup
frozen chopped kale
250 mL
1½ cups
unsweetened almond beverage
375 mL
1 cup
vanilla Greek yogourt
250 mL
½
ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
½ cup
quick oats
125 mL
½ tsp
ground cinnamon
2 mL
½ cup
granola
125 mL

Method

Step 1

Thinly slice 1 apple; set aside. Roughly chop remaining apples. In a blender, add chopped apples, spinach, kale, almond beverage, yogourt, avocado, oats and cinnamon.

Step 2

Blend until smooth. Pour into 4 bowls. Top with reserved apple slices and granola. Sprinkle lightly with additional cinnamon, if desired. Serve immediately.

Tips

To make into a sippable smoothie, add 1 cup (250 mL) apple juice.
