Set the oysters on grill preheated to high, making sure the more deeply cupped side of the shell is on the grill, cradled by the bars. Close lid and grill until oysters open, 3 to 5 min.
Meanwhile, in a microwaveable bowl, add salsa and butter. Cover and microwave on HIGH 30 sec., or until the butter melts. Mix well.
Transfer cooked oysters to a platter covered with a kitchen towel, rock salt or greens to prevent tipping and losing oyster liquid.
Gently pry off top shells and spoon about 1 tsp (5 mL) butter sauce onto each oyster. Serve with rustic country bread, if desired.
