Method

Step 1

Carefully pour into the Popsicle moulds, set the sticks in place and freeze solid, I was able to make 16 (90 mL) popsicles.

Step 2

To make un-molding them easier, I quickly run the mould under hot tap water; this makes the popsicle release itself from the mould and slide out pretty easy.

Step 3

We have also made popsicles with: orange juice and frozen wild blueberries, lemonade, watermelon and fresh mint, and flavoured yoghurt.

Step 4

I always had a fondness for the red, white and blue "rocket" popsicle the ice cream truck used to bring around at little league games. I made some the other day by freezing Pomegranate and Blueberry Juice, Lemonade and Fruit Fusion Strawberry Passionfruit in layers. It worked, looked and tasted great and took me right back to the ball field.

Tips

You could also try Prosecco sparkling wine.
