- Compliments Original Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix (or Compliments Buttermilk Complete Pancake & Waffle Mix)
- 250 mL
- 3/4 cup
- bite-sized chopped or shredded rotisserie chicken
- 175 mL
- 1 1/2 tsp
- chili powder
- 7 mL
- 1 tsp
- smoked or regular paprika
- 5 mL
- 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt
- 2 mL
- 1/8 tsp
- cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 0.5 mL
- 1 tbsp
- white vinegar
- 15 mL
Method
Step 1
In bowl, use a whisk to mix together pancake mix and 2/3 cup (150 mL) water until smooth.
Step 2
Mix in chicken, chili powder, paprika, garlic salt and cayenne. Just before cooking pancakes, stir vinegar into batter.
Step 3
Cook pancakes in skillet according to package instructions. Serve with hot sauce and maple syrup, if desired.
Tips
For gluten-free pancakes, use Compliments Gluten-Free Pancake & Waffle Mix. Mix batter according to package directions. For every 1 cup (250 mL) of mixed gluten free batter, use recipe's ingredient add-ins.
