Who can participate?

The contest is open to legal residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northern Ontario who have reached the age of majority in their province.

How long will the contest run for?

The contest opens 12:00am MST on March 24th, 2022 and ends on May 4th, 2022 at 11:59pm MST or at your Participating Store’s closing time, whichever comes first.

How do I participate?

Complete the online entry form at Safeway.ca/myNHLfamily.
During registration, if you enter your AIR MILES® Card number, earn one (1) additional entry every time you shop at Safeway Canada stores with your AIR MILES® Card.

How do I enter without purchasing?

Visit the Contest website Safeway.ca/myNHLfamily during the Contest Period. Fill out the online entry form including your first and last name, valid email address and postal code.

How do I earn additional or bonus contest entries?

Earn one (1) bonus entry toward the Grand Prize when you click the opt-in box and subscribe to receive Safeway emails. You must be a new subscriber.
If enrolled in the AIR MILES® Reward Program, you could earn one (1) additional entry toward the Grand Prize and the respective Secondary Prize when you add your AIR MILES collector number online during registration.
Receive one (1) additional entry every time you shop in-store at a Safeway Canada store with that same AIR MILES® Card.

What are the contest prizes?

Grand Prize
There are four (4) grand prizes to be won, one (1) for each Participating Region. For the three (3) regions that fall within select postal codes, a grand prize of four (4) season tickets to NHL® 2022/2023 regular season games will be awarded. For any winners who fall within the remaining territory region “A Seasons’ Worth of Groceries” will be awarded with a retail value of $15,000 (CAD).
Secondary
Sixty (60) secondary prizes will be awarded consisting of NHL® Game Day Ingredients Prize Packs which contain products and premiums each with an approximate retail value of $110 (CAD). See full details and regional breakdown in contest Long Rules.

Is there a limitation to my number of entries?

Customers may only enter online once. There is no limitation on the number of entries per participant, when registration is completed with a valid AIR MILES Card.
